A: A sample pack is a custom preselected sample collection for immediate download.
Q: Do I have to register as a member to be able to buy sample packs?
A: No, but if you do register you can download your sample pack over and over again from any computer with internet connection.
Q: Can I use my sound credits to buy a sample pack?
A: No.
Q: Which programs can I use acid/wav sample packs?
A: Any sequencer that reads wav files will be able to read the files in these packs. These wav loops are acidized so there is "hidden" metadata in the files header (with root key, bpm information), making them easier to use in an Acid reading application. The programs that currently read Acid files are: SONAR, Project5, Kinetic, Cubase SX3, SL3 and of course all Sony Acid and Screenblast products.
Q: Are the sounds I am listening to the same as the sounds I download?
A: No, the preview files are lower quality than the downloadloaded files which are all 16 bit 44.1
